![]() ![]() ![]() Time 1247 hours.īy this time the third Tiger was in a panic, milling around wondering how he could escape. Lieutenant James dashed over to Sergeant Gordon's tank, took command, quickly moved to a new fire position and Trooper Ekins fired one shot at the second tank. Unluckily as he did so either his turret flap hit a branch of a tree or it received a glancing blow from a shot whatever the cause it came crashing down onto the Sergeant's head almost knocking him out. The second tank traversed right and fired three shots at Sergeant Gordon, but anticipating this he was already reversing into cover. Two shots from Trooper Ekins, the gunner, set it on fire. Sergeant Gordon engaged the rear tank of the three. When the range had closed to 800 yards Captain Boardman gave the order to fire. Sergeant Gordon, commanding a 17 Pounder tank reported three Tigers advancing slowly north, in line ahead, along the Falaise-Caen road. 3 Troop of A Squadron, the forward troop covering the right flank, were the first to make contact. ![]()

![]() ![]() You'll prob say I should have grouped, but the idea was more to test & compare the classes than it was to kill the dude. I'm not saying it was a quick fight, but I never died once. With the Necro, I just let my skellies tank him, and I jump in with a few nukes and then just avoided his "beam of death". I was gonna give up, but finally managed to get him on the 10th try.lol He also healed himself sometimes, which made it much harder. I died 9 times - no joke - with the Wizard because I had nothing to tank the mage, and when I nuked him, he nuked me at the same time (and he had hella more hit points than me). One interesting comparison is the battle with the mage boss in the sepulcher at around level 14-15. I agree Wiz is really fun to play, altho DH is as well. Got them all to at least 15, and the Wiz to 20. I tried DH first, then Necro, then Wizard. It's still fun, but it's not my preference. You lose the feeling of an army and investing in strengthening that army, and instead have a small, mostly static, mob that follows you around. However, I feel the D3/DI necro loses a lot of the charm of the class. I usually main necro in games, and I have a complete set necro in the D2R ladder (outside maxing skillers). It's WAY tankier than both wizard and DH which are glass cannons. It's the easiest to play because your minions do a lot for you, and they tank a lot of attacks. Necro is a minion build, which is fun in its own right. But once again, you are at the mercy of CDs. It's a stark contrast with DH which is auto attack based which in this game is an absolute pain, they also don't have any real CC outside chill (if you're using the legendary with multishot).īut DHs have the best single target in the game and it is satisfying burning down a target, it's also very consistent damage with high overall vengeance uptime.īut it's even more fun blowing up a huge pack of mobs with a wizard, have tons of CC, multiple viable builds, and great damage. It's cooldown based and most of them are aoe and parts of combos. Personally I think the Wizard is the most fun of the classes i've played so far, but its also one of the easiest classes to play. I have three characters: P20 DH, P8 Necro, P10 Wizard. ![]() |
